We are centrally located, for the convenience of travel, near Ocala, Florida. Our address is technically in Ft McCoy Florida, but everyone knows where Ocala is located. We are only a short drive North from Orlando and the Disney World attractions via the Turnpike. Its even a even shorter drive West from Daytona Beach off of State Road 40 and Hwy 19 and the Daytona International Speedway just off of I-95. FAQs

You do not need a license to hunt with us. While hog hunting on private land in the State of Florida; you are not required to possess a hunting license.

Hunters Orange is not required while hunting Wild Hogs on private Lands.

That is completely up to you. I like either camo or dark clothing, but the stands that you’ll be hunting out of, have blinds around them.

We hunt out of tree stands over feeder locations. The shot range to the feeder is 20-30yds for archery hunters, but is not limited too for gun hunters. Gun hunters can expect a range of 0-100yds depending on which stand location they’re hunting.

We hunt out of 15’ double-man ladder stands, Condo/Box-stands, and ground blinds.

We have no trophy fees whatsoever!

There are no cleaning fees whatsoever!

When you book a hunt with us; your time is your time. We don’t believe in double dipping parties. You or your party will be the only group on our lands during your scheduled time.

We offer a morning or an afternoon hunt, and we also offer full day and Thermal Night Hunts.

There is no gratuity included in your price/hunt. All tips/gratuity are welcomed by your guide. They are there working for you, and appreciate any “Thanks” you can give to them.

When your animal is being cleaned; we provided you with the Shoulders, Hams, Backstraps, Tenderloins, and Ribs. You need to bring a cooler along with you to take home your harvested hog.

This was our second time bow fishing with West Shore outfitters. We were informed they only had 2 left handed bows when we booked but we said we could make that work for the 4 left handed shooters. But when we got there they only had 1.The worst part we were 45 min into the trip a nock broke on an arrow and they had no spares on the boat, so 1 shooter had to wait to switch after someone else got a fish. Also the 2 woman on the boat who had gone 3 times before couldn’t draw the bows back barely and the guides informed us they forgot the Allen wrenches in the truck to turn the draw down on them. So they both struggled all night trying to get to full draw, which took the fun out of it totally for them. The guide did make a call and had someone meet us an hour or so later to give us a few arrows. But by then, the mood was a bust on the boat.Fishing was bad but I’ve been on a lot of charters, so I knew clarity of the water wasn’t the captain’s fault. About an hour in he wanted to know if we wanted to cancel the charter and come back another night. Which sounds good but after we spent 2 hours getting our licenses at the tax collector and driving 2 hours over to the spot, it wasn’t possible with only a few days left of vacation.The boat kept stalling pretty much all night, but when we were almost done we sat dead in the water and bugs for 20 minutes waiting to get it going again. When it did start we were more than already to get back to the car. The gear definitely was not top notch from the bows to the boat. The small details from scouting earlier to see visibility in the to not having spare arrows, or a bow and wrenches to turn the draw down really made it a disappointing charter.**update** Matt reached out to make this right. Just got back home to Maine after spending a few days hog hunting at WSO. I can’t say enough about how much fun I had!! The lodge was absolutely top notch! It’s beautiful and spacious with all the amenities of home plus more. A beautiful full fireplace and comfortable seating to relax in. A very nice outdoor kitchen area for cooking. We saw plenty of hogs and had great success! But the icing on the cake were the guides. The owner Matt was welcoming and it was evident that he has put a lot of thought into the business. My family booked a one-day hog hunt one week in advance for the last day of our Florida vacation and couldn't have been more pleased! Cody and Dakota were our guides and they were very helpful, informative, and just great guys. There were 5 hunters in our group and one observer and we were killed out by 10am! We were told that that doesn't usually happen, but there were lots of hogs around and at close ranges. Afterward our guides were very helpful and patient in helping with pictures and getting us back to their beautiful facilities. Matt and his guides are fantastic their property is really really nice as well. They even have a lodge next time I go I'm going to stay the whole weekend at the lodge and do a hog hunt and a fishing charter the next day. I've been really impressed with the really nice professional level of communication you never have to wonder what the next step is or where to show up or when to show up or what address to go to. They're very thorough with every step. And my guide Colby was great. My son Logan and I had a great time and I was so proud of my son to make such a good shot that was his first hog and first big game ever at 15 years old. There are no trophy fees many places in Florida you basically pay by the pound and it can get very very expensive. Look at these guys it's very straightforward and a very good price point. It makes doing something special like this very affordable. Especially if you've tried to hunt wmas and spend hours and hours and hours hunting with no success or even seeing one single hog. This is a great experience to finally get that success but have a very good natural hunting experience. Booked a two day hunt. Amazing stand locations and a phenomenal staff. Cody was my guide and I cannot speak highly enough of him. Knowledgeable and absolutely willing to explain/show things through the processing of the animal. I will definitely be going back for more hog once my freezer is empty (maybe before).Not as a negative in any way, just a word of caution to future hunters. If you hunt from one of the box stands and use a firearm, your ears will be ringing for a good bit. Still absolutely worth it for great position and a full freezer.

First Class Outfitter!! Have never shot a wild hog before. The guide delivered me to my blind, told me where he thought the hogs would come from, told me how to determine their size and any other info that I needed. Little after 8am my hog was Down. My friend and I went here for our first hog hunt and had a great time. Also my friend had never hunted anything bigger than squirrels before. The guide placed us in our own blinds and within minutes the hogs appeared. The location they have is very well populated with them. I observed for a couple hours and then chose the one I took home. During my observation I saw multiple sized hogs from a pack of piglets to full grown pigs. There was also a couple bald eagles putting on a show for me. My friend and I are already planning our next trip!! West Shore has the best prices and location in Florida that I have researched. Can’t wait for the next trip. This was my first time ever hunting. We went for a half day trip and checked in about 3:45. We were thoroughly briefed on expectations by our guide Dakota, who was excellent. We were driven out to our stands and within a few minutes had some action. As a group of 5 (4 hunters, 1 spectator) we wound up taking home 3 hogs. 2 of our hunters didn’t have any luck but thats the name of the game. Dakota cleaned and quartered everything for us and gave a few tips on cooking and further prepping the meat. Excellent experience overall and look forward to coming back!

Matt and his guys are great. I've hunted with the West Shore guys three times now and they never disappoint. I really appreciate how helpful each of the guides is and how Matt doesn't jerk you around like other outfitters on the cost of things. It is nice to know how much your hunt is going to cost instead of being subject to different rates for different sizes, etc. Their pricing even includes cleaning/quartering your animal. Some never shot a gun before, everybody was a first time hunter.We did the dog assisted hog hunt and it was perfect for our group. 100% success rate. This was an Epic Adventure for us. They were able to accommodate us last minute, along with my husband and my son.Mat , Cody and his crew were knowledgeable, friendly, and fun.We did the Hog hunting with the Dogs. They are trained to locate the Hogs. Once done hunting, they carried back the Hogs. They skinned, gutted, and bagged it for us , We also paid for the Two Hog head Trophy. This was my First Hog Hunt. After searching several places, this place stood out! I called , set a date, and had an Amazing Experience!!I cant say enough about my guide Dakota, he told me EVERYTHING I needed to know. I saw a bunch of hogs running wild on the way to my spot. Within a very short time after I set up in the hide,hogs came out of nowhere!!With the knowledge and guidance of the folks here, I took one shot and got a 130 lb hog!Im definitely going back for another adventure!!!

Cody and Dakota are great guides. Took my wife and I out for our first hunt and took the time to teach us as much as they could. Came back again with my son and Cody made sure my son had the best time in the woods with his dad. Couldnt recommend these guys more and will be back again.

Took my son on a nighttime thermal hog hunt for his 16th birthday. What an experience! We had a blast! Cody was awesome! He knew where the hogs were gonna be, even moved spots to get a bigger one. Took some good pics, Cody did a good job of quartering it up and we were on our way. My daughter is wanting to get herself a hog now too! Looks like we will be seeing Cody again in the future. If you are looking for a great hog hunt West Shore Outfitters is the place to go.I have hunted hogs in several states but none could compare with West Shores. I have never seen such a concentration of hogs. They were literally at every feeder on the property. Some times there were 3 or 4 in numbers and at other times there were 6+ hogs at the feeders. If want to have a successful hunt this is the place to contact. Guides were knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They are focused on you and your success.

Booked a half day morning hunt with a 12 hour notice and had a great experience! We were only sitting in the stand for about 30 minutes when a large group of hogs came right into 25 yards. Couldn’t have asked for a better hunt.

We had an awesome time! The hunt was very exciting and we were able to bring our own weapons. They do have one they provide you on the thermal hunt but you can bring your own if you have one. We got the two pigs in under an hour. They were beats as you can see from the photo. The nice thing about West Shore is that they don’t charge extra for trophy hogs at night. We got two trophy’s! Thank you Colby. The staff were great. I just leased 12,000 acres in a hunting club. I won’t be back but anyone looking for an amazing hunt and time. You need to look up Mat at West Shore outfitters. You will not be disappointed…
