We are centrally located, for the convenience of travel, near Ocala, Florida. Our address is technically in Ft McCoy Florida, but everyone knows where Ocala is located. We are only a short drive North from Orlando and the Disney World attractions via the Turnpike. FAQs

You do not need a license to hunt with us. While hog hunting on private land in the State of Florida; you are not required to possess a hunting license.

Hunters Orange is not required while hunting Wild Hogs on private Lands.

That is completely up to you. I like either camo or dark clothing, but the stands that you’ll be hunting out of, have blinds around them.

We hunt out of tree stands over feeder locations. The shot range to the feeder is 20-30yds for archery hunters, but is not limited too for gun hunters. Gun hunters can expect a range of 0-100yds depending on which stand location they’re hunting.

We hunt out of 15’ double-man ladder stands, Condo/Box-stands, and ground blinds.

We have no trophy fees whatsoever!

There are no cleaning fees whatsoever!

When you book a hunt with us; your time is your time. We don’t believe in double dipping parties. You or your party will be the only group on our lands during your scheduled time.

We offer a morning or an afternoon hunt, and we also offer full day and Thermal Night Hunts.

There is no gratuity included in your price/hunt. All tips/gratuity are welcomed by your guide. They are there working for you, and appreciate any “Thanks” you can give to them.

When your animal is being cleaned; we provided you with the Shoulders, Hams, Backstraps, Tenderloins, and Ribs. You need to bring a cooler along with you to take home your harvested hog.

Just got back home to Maine after spending a few days hog hunting at WSO. I can’t say enough about how much fun I had!! The lodge was absolutely top notch! It’s beautiful and spacious with all the amenities of home plus more. A beautiful full fireplace and comfortable seating to relax in. A very nice outdoor kitchen area for cooking. We saw plenty of hogs and had great success! But the icing on the cake were the guides. The owner Matt was welcoming and it was evident that he has put a lot of thought into the business. Cody and Dakota I can’t say enough wonderful things about. Very cool, real, down to earth and very knowledgeable guys. Just outstanding service from these two! My dad and I went on the hog hunt with dogs, and since this was our first time hunting, we honestly didn’t know what to expect. From the moment we met Cody, it was clear we were in good hands. My family booked a one-day hog hunt one week in advance for the last day of our Florida vacation and couldn't have been more pleased! Cody and Dakota were our guides and they were very helpful, informative, and just great guys. There were 5 hunters in our group and one observer and we were killed out by 10am! We were told that that doesn't usually happen, but there were lots of hogs around and at close ranges. Afterward our guides were very helpful and patient in helping with pictures and getting us back to their beautiful facilities. They quickly got our game quartered up and were great to chat with before we were on our way. Overall it was a great experience for the whole family, would definitely recommend!

They even have a lodge next time I go I'm going to stay the whole weekend at the lodge and do a hog hunt and a fishing charter the next day. Booked a two day hunt. Amazing stand locations and a phenomenal staff. Cody was my guide and I cannot speak highly enough of him. Knowledgeable and absolutely willing to explain/show things through the processing of the animal. I will definitely be going back for more hog once my freezer is empty (maybe before).Not as a negative in any way, just a word of caution to future hunters. If you hunt from one of the box stands and use a firearm, your ears will be ringing for a good bit. Still absolutely worth it for great position and a full freezer.

My friend and I went here for our first hog hunt and had a great time. Also my friend had never hunted anything bigger than squirrels before. The guide placed us in our own blinds and within minutes the hogs appeared. The location they have is very well populated with them. I observed for a couple hours and then chose the one I took home. During my observation I saw multiple sized hogs from a pack of piglets to full grown pigs. There was also a couple bald eagles putting on a show for me. My friend and I are already planning our next trip!! West Shore has the best prices and location in Florida that I have researched. Can’t wait for the next trip. This was my first time ever hunting. We went for a half day trip and checked in about 3:45. We were thoroughly briefed on expectations by our guide Dakota, who was excellent. We were driven out to our stands and within a few minutes had some action. As a group of 5 (4 hunters, 1 spectator) we wound up taking home 3 hogs. 2 of our hunters didn’t have any luck but thats the name of the game. Dakota cleaned and quartered everything for us and gave a few tips on cooking and further prepping the meat. Excellent experience overall and look forward to coming back!

Matt and his guys are great. I've hunted with the West Shore guys three times now and they never disappoint. I really appreciate how helpful each of the guides is and how Matt doesn't jerk you around like other outfitters on the cost of things. It is nice to know how much your hunt is going to cost instead of being subject to different rates for different sizes, etc. Their pricing even includes cleaning/quartering your animal. Got a chance to do an afternoon hog hunt with my dad at West Shore Outfitters. In setting up the hunt, Matt was awesome. Gave some recommendations and made it easy. Great pricing too. This was an Epic Adventure for us. If you are looking for a great hog hunt West Shore Outfitters is the place to go.I have hunted hogs in several states but none could compare with West Shores. I have never seen such a concentration of hogs. They were literally at every feeder on the property. Some times there were 3 or 4 in numbers and at other times there were 6+ hogs at the feeders. If want to have a successful hunt this is the place to contact. Guides were knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They are focused on you and your success.

We had an awesome time! The hunt was very exciting and we were able to bring our own weapons. They do have one they provide you on the thermal hunt but you can bring your own if you have one. We got the two pigs in under an hour. They were beats as you can see from the photo. The nice thing about West Shore is that they don’t charge extra for trophy hogs at night. We got two trophy’s! This place is pretty awesome hog hunting! We called and they got us in for a hunt within a couple days. This is my son and they made sure he seen a hog. Plenty of them and all different sizes. The guides were also awesome! Not only did they put my son on a hog but they also informed me of things around the area to do while I waited for him. Prices are great! What a great experience!! This was my first time hunting hogs and the team could not have made the process any smoother for me. I decided to do the dog hunt and it was amazing to watch them work. I HIGHLY recommend them and I will be back for another hunt.

The guys at WSO are awesome. They made it a wonderful relaxed experience that was totally worth the money. Got two good hogs out of our afternoon hunt, and the chance at a monster during the thermal that I screwed up. If you want the chance for big hogs at a fair price, awesome guides, and some lovable hog dogs then this is the place to go. Will definitely be coming back if I am able.

Successful morning hunt with West Shore Outfitters. This was my second hunting charter with Dakota, Cody & Colby. These guides know their business and run a professional hunt. Last year was a dog hunt (very exciting), so this year I decided to do a stand hunt. My opportunity came early and Dakota & Colby were there to track and retrieve my hog. I’ll be back next year.

West Shore Outfitters was great. Good communication right from the start so all details/questions were easy to get answered and figured out. Our guide, Dakota was very knowledgeable and great talking with before and after the hunt. We saw several pigs on our hunt, and ended up going home with a very nice one.
