Just got back home to Maine after spending a few days hog hunting at WSO. I can’t say enough about how much fun I had!! The lodge was absolutely top notch! It’s beautiful and spacious with all the amenities of home plus more. A beautiful full fireplace and comfortable seating to relax in. A very nice outdoor kitchen area for cooking. We saw plenty of hogs and had great success! But the icing on the cake were the guides. The owner Matt was welcoming and it was evident that he has put a lot of thought into the business. Cody and Dakota I can’t say enough wonderful things about. Very cool, real, down to earth and very knowledgeable guys. Just outstanding service from these two! If I could rate it higher than 5 stars I would! Thank you West Shore Outfitters for an awesome experience.

Went on a hog hunt at West Shore Outfitters just after Christmas 2025, it was an amazing time! We were a party of 4, and all of us had a successful hunt 💪. I wouldn’t want to hunt with anyone else after my trip with West Shore Outfitters—what an absolute blast.Cody and his brother truly know how to deliver a next-level hunting experience. My dad and I went on the hog hunt with dogs, and since this was our first time hunting, we honestly didn’t know what to expect. From the moment we met Cody, it was clear we were in good hands. He’s the kind of guide you want beside you—calm, confident, and completely dialed in. Safety was always the priority, but the adrenaline never dipped.Their knowledge of the land, the animals, and the hunt itself made it obvious these guys live and breathe what they do. Both my dad and I each landed two big hogs within two hours—an unreal experience for our first hunt. Afterward, they handled the skinning and breakdown of the hogs with total professionalism. Since this was my first kill, we went with a euro mount for one of the hogs, which West Shore Outfitters takes care of in-house with their taxidermist. I have been on multiple hunts at West Shore Outfitters. Our recent hunt was in November. Like always Matt and his team took amazing care of us. This was my nephews first hunt ever. My family booked a one-day hog hunt one week in advance for the last day of our Florida vacation and couldn't have been more pleased! Cody and Dakota were our guides and they were very helpful, informative, and just great guys. There were 5 hunters in our group and one observer and we were killed out by 10am! We were told that that doesn't usually happen, but there were lots of hogs around and at close ranges. Afterward our guides were very helpful and patient in helping with pictures and getting us back to their beautiful facilities. They quickly got our game quartered up and were great to chat with before we were on our way. Overall it was a great experience for the whole family, would definitely recommend!

Matt and his guides are fantastic their property is really really nice as well. They even have a lodge next time I go I'm going to stay the whole weekend at the lodge and do a hog hunt and a fishing charter the next day. I've been really impressed with the really nice professional level of communication you never have to wonder what the next step is or where to show up or when to show up or what address to go to. They're very thorough with every step. And my guide Colby was great. My son Logan and I had a great time and I was so proud of my son to make such a good shot that was his first hog and first big game ever at 15 years old. Grateful for the quality time we had in the blind together just him and I. And grateful for the Harvest of the hug that each one of us got that day.I have Hunted with another Outfitter but this is my new favorite property the level of quality and professionalism was top notch. I also really like the value you get a great value without any hidden fees or any crazy high pricing if you get a larger hog. There are no trophy fees many places in Florida you basically pay by the pound and it can get very very expensive. Look at these guys it's very straightforward and a very good price point. It makes doing something special like this very affordable. Especially if you've tried to hunt wmas and spend hours and hours and hours hunting with no success or even seeing one single hog. This is a great experience to finally get that success but have a very good natural hunting experience. Booked a two day hunt. Amazing stand locations and a phenomenal staff. Cody was my guide and I cannot speak highly enough of him. Knowledgeable and absolutely willing to explain/show things through the processing of the animal. I will definitely be going back for more hog once my freezer is empty (maybe before).Not as a negative in any way, just a word of caution to future hunters. If you hunt from one of the box stands and use a firearm, your ears will be ringing for a good bit. Still absolutely worth it for great position and a full freezer.

First Class Outfitter!! Have never shot a wild hog before. The guide delivered me to my blind, told me where he thought the hogs would come from, told me how to determine their size and any other info that I needed. Little after 8am my hog was Down. The guide skin, quartered and filled my cooler with ice, all for no additional cost!! I Will Return!!

My friend and I went here for our first hog hunt and had a great time. Also my friend had never hunted anything bigger than squirrels before. The guide placed us in our own blinds and within minutes the hogs appeared. The location they have is very well populated with them. I observed for a couple hours and then chose the one I took home. During my observation I saw multiple sized hogs from a pack of piglets to full grown pigs. There was also a couple bald eagles putting on a show for me. My friend and I are already planning our next trip!! West Shore has the best prices and location in Florida that I have researched. Can’t wait for the next trip. Matt was great to work with getting thermal hog hunt set up. Cody was awesome guiding the night stock and shoot with thermals then getting meat quartered and to the butcher. Matt & Dakota were very courteous & helpful in setting up our boar hunt to ensure the best possible chance for success.Once we sorted out the date & time they kept in touch with us and made sure we were properly prepared for our Thermal night hunt.Dakota gave us a very informative pre-hunt briefing and made sure we knew how the rifle & thermal scope functioned, and how we would proceed safely on our hunt.Both my Cousin and I each had good shots at a boar. And we went home with some fresh meat in our cooler.Dakota did the skinning & butchering in very short order- he was done by the time I retrieved my cooler!!Next year we are planning to try the Dog Hunt.If you have never hunted boar🐗 before or have done so with no success my Cousin and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND West Shore Outfitters !!👍👍😃😃

This was my first time ever hunting. We went for a half day trip and checked in about 3:45. We were thoroughly briefed on expectations by our guide Dakota, who was excellent. We were driven out to our stands and within a few minutes had some action. As a group of 5 (4 hunters, 1 spectator) we wound up taking home 3 hogs. 2 of our hunters didn’t have any luck but thats the name of the game. Dakota cleaned and quartered everything for us and gave a few tips on cooking and further prepping the meat. Excellent experience overall and look forward to coming back!

Matt and his guys are great. I've hunted with the West Shore guys three times now and they never disappoint. I really appreciate how helpful each of the guides is and how Matt doesn't jerk you around like other outfitters on the cost of things. It is nice to know how much your hunt is going to cost instead of being subject to different rates for different sizes, etc. Their pricing even includes cleaning/quartering your animal. I'd highly recommend and hope to get back to hunt there again soon.

Got a chance to do an afternoon hog hunt with my dad at West Shore Outfitters. In setting up the hunt, Matt was awesome. Gave some recommendations and made it easy. Great pricing too. Dakota, our guide, was awesome. Super knowledgeable. Good guy as well. Set us up in a great stand and we saw hogs within 5 minutes. Took some time to just observe and see what else would come. Ended up getting a monster hog. Dakota came out, took care of it all, and sent us home with some great meat. Thank you all!

This was an Epic Adventure for us. They were able to accommodate us last minute, along with my husband and my son.Mat , Cody and his crew were knowledgeable, friendly, and fun.We did the Hog hunting with the Dogs. They are trained to locate the Hogs. Once done hunting, they carried back the Hogs. They skinned, gutted, and bagged it for us , We also paid for the Two Hog head Trophy. This was my First Hog Hunt. After searching several places, this place stood out! I called , set a date, and had an Amazing Experience!!I cant say enough about my guide Dakota, he told me EVERYTHING I needed to know. I saw a bunch of hogs running wild on the way to my spot. Within a very short time after I set up in the hide,hogs came out of nowhere!!With the knowledge and guidance of the folks here, I took one shot and got a 130 lb hog!Im definitely going back for another adventure!!!

Took my son on a nighttime thermal hog hunt for his 16th birthday. What an experience! We had a blast! Cody was awesome! He knew where the hogs were gonna be, even moved spots to get a bigger one. If you are looking for a great hog hunt West Shore Outfitters is the place to go.I have hunted hogs in several states but none could compare with West Shores. I have never seen such a concentration of hogs. They were literally at every feeder on the property. Some times there were 3 or 4 in numbers and at other times there were 6+ hogs at the feeders. If want to have a successful hunt this is the place to contact. Guides were knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They are focused on you and your success.

Booked a half day morning hunt with a 12 hour notice and had a great experience! We were only sitting in the stand for about 30 minutes when a large group of hogs came right into 25 yards. Couldn’t have asked for a better hunt.

We had an awesome time! The hunt was very exciting and we were able to bring our own weapons. They do have one they provide you on the thermal hunt but you can bring your own if you have one. We got the two pigs in under an hour. They were beats as you can see from the photo. The nice thing about West Shore is that they don’t charge extra for trophy hogs at night. We got two trophy’s! Thank you Colby. The staff were great. I just leased 12,000 acres in a hunting club. I won’t be back but anyone looking for an amazing hunt and time. You need to look up Mat at West Shore outfitters. You will not be disappointed…

This place is pretty awesome hog hunting! We called and they got us in for a hunt within a couple days. This is my son and they made sure he seen a hog. Plenty of them and all different sizes. The guides were also awesome! Not only did they put my son on a hog but they also informed me of things around the area to do while I waited for him. Prices are great! You pay for the hunt, not the size hog you kill. Would recommend 100% to anyone! We also plan on hunting here again, hopefully soon! Thank you so much for an awesome hunt!

I booked a thermal hog hunt recently with west shore outfitters and had a great experience. From the moment I arrived and met my guide Colby to the conclusion of my hunt it was fun, exciting and professional. I had been on hog hunts with a couple other outfitters over the years, but this was the most fun and exciting. When you head out with your guide there are no cameras guiding your hunt. It’s you and your guide walking and searching for hogs, a true spot and stalk hunt You carry the weapon while the guide searches for hogs and carries the tripod to shoot from Even if you have no experience with guns and hunting they will help every step of the way. What a great way to have a true adventure in Florida ! Yes I was successful and plan on returning next March for another hunt Thanks again Colby and everyone at West Shore Outfitters!
